Dr. Scheuring began his journey into chiropractic by obtaining his Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario and then obtaining his Chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. In 1996, he began practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic in the Kitchener Waterloo area.

Dr. Scheuring is dedicated to helping patients, professionals and fellow chiropractors improve in their health and practice. He is continuously improving his practice and health outcomes for his patients through regular professional learning. He has completed additional training in Pediatrics, Vestibular Rehabilitation therapy, Nutrition and Neurology. Dr. Scheuring has a special interest in neurology and after extensive post graduate studies, received his diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (2006).   His studies continued, and he obtained a Fellowship of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation (2010).

He regularly is asked to be a guest speaker for health organizations and other professions on various topics including neurology. He has also done work consulting as an independent examiner.

Dr. Scheuring has volunteered his time be an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board  licensing new Chiropractors and has also donated time with the process of grading the Neurology board exams in the U.S. He also currently assists the Ontario Chiropractic Association as a volunteer riding designate and has participated in a focus group on the future of the profession.

He also sits on the executive of the Functional Neurology Society  since 2011, and is the past Clinical Director of Neulife Brain Centers in Etobicoke, Ontario.

He has worked with athletes of all levels, including high school, varsity, NHL, NFL, and Olympic athletes, particularly with concussion rehabilitation.

Dr. Scheuring not only cares about the health of his patients, but also that of his community and is an active member and past president of the Optimists. He is also a member of the Woolwich Trails group and Physicians for the environment.
